Vintage Iittala Mondo Water Glass – Kerttu Nurminen
A beautiful vintage Mondo water glass, designed by Finnish designer Kerttu Nurminen for Iittala / Nuutajärvi.
The Mondo series was designed in 1988 and is characterised by its distinctive thick stem, where the green colour gradually fades into clear glass. This 22 cl version was produced between 1998 and 2008 and combines a clear bowl with a soft green stem and foot.
The sculptural form and subtle colour gradient give the glass a refined and recognisably Finnish appearance. It works beautifully as a water glass, small wine glass or collectible piece of Scandinavian glass design.
