A beautiful vintage Aino Aalto dessert bowl, produced by Riihimäen Lasi in Finland.
Designed by Aino Aalto, the piece features the distinctive horizontal wave-like rings associated with her iconic glassware design, originally introduced in the 1930s. The gently flared bowl and pedestal foot give this version an elegant, sculptural appearance.
This particular footed dessert bowl is a discontinued vintage form and is not part of the current Iittala production. It is a charming example of Finnish glass design, combining functionality with the clean, modern lines characteristic of Aino Aalto’s work.
