Marimekko maalaisruusu ( country rose ) is one of the classic floral prints designed by Maija Isola in 1964. Marimekko describes it as a nostalgic floral pattern created at a time when floral prints were still rare in their collection. It was designed alongside other iconic flower prints like Unikko.
