A distinctive vintage piece produced by Arabia Finland, featuring a bold black-and-white geometric decoration.
The cylindrical white ceramic body is decorated with a striking arrangement of black diamond-shaped squares, creating a clean and graphic appearance characteristic of Finnish modern design.
The piece comes with a fitted ceramic lid featuring a practical opening for a serving spoon, making it ideal for use as a sugar jar or sugar bowl.
Interestingly, once the lid is removed, the handled body can also be used on its own as a cup or mug, giving the piece a charming dual-purpose character.
One side bears the bilingual inscription:
“Sokeria luonnosta – Socker ur naturen”
meaning “Sugar from Nature” in Finnish and Swedish.
The base carries the ARABIA FINLAND backstamp.
