Arabia Kalevala Ateljé Tea Cup & Saucer – Hand-Painted
A beautiful vintage Arabia Kalevala tea cup and saucer from the Ateljé collection, dating from the 1970s. The form was designed by Peter Winquist, with decoration by Anja Jaatinen-Winquist.
Bold, rounded flowers in deep brown and black stand out against a warm ochre glaze. The hand-painted decoration gives each piece individual character, while the matching saucer completes the rich, earthy colour palette.
The cup bears the handwritten “Ateljé Arabia Finland” marking underneath. A distinctive piece of Finnish ceramic design for a special tea break or a vintage Arabia collection.
