Vintage Arabia Finland Polaris coffee cup and saucer, designed by Raija Uosikkinen and produced between 1953 and 1964. The Polaris decoration features a delicate botanical transfer-print pattern in soft green and grey tones.
Polaris was used on Arabia’s B and R forms, designed by Kaj Franck and Olga Osol, and is noted as Arabia’s first underglaze transfer decoration.
