Iittala Kastehelmi Lavender Candle Holder – Oiva Toikka
A beautiful discontinued Iittala Kastehelmi tealight candle holder in a rare lavender / purple colourway, designed by legendary Finnish glass designer Oiva Toikka.
The Kastehelmi pattern was originally designed in 1964. Its name means “dewdrop” in Finnish, referring to the distinctive rows of raised glass droplets covering the surface. When illuminated by candlelight, the textured glass creates a beautiful sparkling effect.
This lavender version is now discontinued, making it especially appealing to collectors of Iittala and Oiva Toikka glass. Iittala’s discontinued-product archive specifically lists the Kastehelmi votive 64 mm in lavender.
